With MoveOS 2, we have improved the exprience of locking and unlocking the handle. In situations where the handle does not get locked or unlocked physically, you will be alerted via a message and animation on the HMI. You will also be able to see real time lock and unlock status on the Ola Electric app. If these features aren't working, please reach out to our support team.
Passcode reset is possible by using the scooter application in the dashboard. You may however lock and unlock the scooter via the Ola Electric app without using the passcode. If you have forgotten your current passcode, you can reset the passcode by reaching out to our support team.
Yes. With the MoveOS 2 update, you can keep your scooter parked without charging for upto 30 days. We however recommend that you charge and use the scooter regularly for the best experience which will be further improved in MoveOS 3.

No, it is not necessary to have the app. However, we recommend downloading the app for a better experience. Features such as remote locking and unlocking, trunk access, real time charging updates and other useful information about your scooter can be accessed via the Ola Electric app.
There are two ways to lock/unlock your scooter:- Enter the passcode on the scooter passcode screen.- Click on the lock/unlock button on the app when your scooter and smartphone are connected via Bluetooth.

No. You can access the scooter only through a single device at a time. If you log in from another device, you will be automatically logged out from your previous device.
No, you can use only one scooter from a particular login. If you want to access a second scooter through the Ola Electric App, you will have to login with an alternate phone number.

No. Currently, you can only add a single profile, which is your primary profile. However, your friends and family will be able to use the scooter by entering the passcode on the dash. We plan to allow addition of more profiles as part of MoveOS 3.
The app is compatible with devices running on Android OS 7 and above, and iOS 12 and above. Also, the Bluetooth version of your phone should be 4.2 and above
